First day or night meal
« on: June 19, 2012, 08:44:08 AM »
Where do you go for that first all important meal?   Does it change depending on the season?

We always used to head for Centric in the winter, but have changed that now it has been refurbished. We loved it because it was really really Mallorcan, and not too touristy.  Now we have dilemas every visit!

If its evening and still light, we want to eat along the coast and see the sea and the moon on the water as it gets darker. When Davide worked at Llenaire restaurant it was easy to walk down there, since then, Brisas, Joseph's have all been favourites, although at the moment its El Casinet that secures our first evening's custom.

But if its really dark, then it would be O Lume - no question.  We dont get those early flights anymore, but if you do, what is your lunch time first meal?  :)
After all is said and done, a lot more will be said than done!

Always head for Little Italy if we arrive late.  Love the food from there - and not too far to go!  ;D

C'An Torrens for a meal or really good tapas otherwise Nostalgia or the Ivy Garden usually. Oh yes, and Los Faroles too - but not all three just one of them!  ;D

Hi Mama Mia - yes you will get lovely real food in the Ivy Garden.  Billy the owner is a great Chef!

We had a friend's birthday meal there and having mentioned this to Billy when we booked, he kindly laid on a lovely gateau with candles for the birthday girl.  ;D
