Hi elena, and welcome to the forum.  Its been a long time since I used any solicitor, but I'm sure there will be others who can give recommendations.
I have heard good reports from people using
DE LA CRUZ-COLL ABOGADOS .They are a family-run firm of English-speaking solicitors specialising in real estate conveyancing and mortgage advice, amongst other matters connected with civil law. The company is based in Puerto Pollensa .

Address, phone and email;

Zona comercial Bellresguard
Bloque B bajos.
Carretera de Formentor, s/n
07470 Puerto de Pollensa

Email: Tony@delacruzcoll.net
Email: oscar@delacruzcoll.net

Tel No: +34 971 866 278

Hope this gets you started - good luck!  ;)

Hi Elena and welcome.

I agree with Bella. We have always used Tony De La Cruz and found him to be very efficient. He is very well known in the Port and respected.

Good luck!  :)

It may be that Elena doesn't need a solicitor, purely a gestor, who are generally cheaper, and specialise more in the admin side of things.  Really depends on whether she is actually buying a property or not.

Any recommendations if so girlie?

I came across a "Yellow Pages" type of  page, which gives details of a number of Gestors, it may be of some use.

I know I am probably going to be in the minority here and please shoot me down if you wish  :o however our experience of using DE LA CRUZ-COLL was not great. I will not go into details here however we were disappointed in the service offered on one occasion.
Received a text today which read GNAB ~ I think that is bang out of order. It doesn't matter if the glass is half full or half empty - there is clearly more room for more wine. I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.

I suppose we tend to stay with a business while they produce the adequate results and like anything once this changes then the need is to find an alternative. There must be other legal people in and around the area but somehow De La Cruz seems to be the one which is well known and seems to get the business. (Not cheap either!) More than likely as many estate agents seem to recommend them?  ;)

Thanks for the replies.

We will be buying and will need an Abogado for that but at the moment what we need as some help with understanding how best to present our financial information for residency applications.   We won't be working and are early retired - I have income but OH doesn't until his state pension kicks in in a couple of years time.   We do have savings though.   We need to understand in some detail what the Extrenerja in Palma is looking for so that we can structure our finances accordingly before we move lock stock & barrel.  So i think at this stage a gestor is what we need.

Check back on my post link then elena. There is one in Puerto Pollensa, one in Pollensa, a few in Inca and Alcudia.

Look forward to your reports on your advancement!  ;)
