It has been exciting weather today, storm right above us this morning, thought the vibrations from the thunder would bring the building down! Of course, bad weather is a danger to drivers and we saw a bad accident on the bend by  Albufuerta ( so) along the coast. One car over the edge onto the beach, and a van skewed across the road. An upsetting site, and a warning to us all. We did however, see a lovely rainbow driving back from Festival Park,

Well it's mid November 2014 & it has been sunny & warm every day so far in Puerto Pollensa. The sea has been crystal clear & calm every day. In fact it so warm, we took the plunge & went for a nice swim this morning!

Have you seen the weather state out at sea, just off Mallorca.......horrendous. Just been looking at webcams and marine forecasts and it's not good. Glad we're not going over on the ferry today but then, having said that, I doubt it's running in this storm.

Ah the wonderful powers of nature......nothing quite like a nice rough sea crossing!  :-X

And the Barcelo Formentor Hotel has obviously not seen the forecast as they have just posted this photo!

Clearly not Mary because the current reports show between 4 to 8 metre swells with a Northerly onshore wind at the Formentor lighthouse. As the sailor said, "hasten Jason, fetch a basin......ooooooo plop, fetch a mop"!
