Renting a villa
« on: May 25, 2014, 18:24:43 PM »
Hi
We are renting a villa in August  (advertised on the PP website) and have paid the deposit.
We are due to pay the balance next month by bank transfer or cheque and I'm worried about the security of this. I've spoken to the owner and they have sent us confirmation of ownership via their solicitor but I'm still nervous having a little one in tow!
Any advice ?

Boobie,

I am sure all is well above board. In these situations you have to go with an element of trust whether you are the renter or the owner. Haven't heard of someone seeking proof of ownership either so armed with that I am sure all is above board.

Have a good holiday and relax on the knowledge that all will be OK .

BL  ;) :)

Thank you ! Just need to hear words like that to reassure my nerves!
It's difficult to be trusting these days!
As long as it's there when we arrive l will be fine :)
