Food bank donations in Alcudia and Puerto Pollensa
« on: February 06, 2015, 18:54:49 PM »
If you are able to make food donations to a very worthwhile cause, here is some useful information about one of the local schemes.

People who go to the food bank in Alcudia have an official document from the social security to verify they are below the breadline.
Food collections take place on Tues and Thurs, when they are given dry goods and some fruit and veg.. However they are lacking in protein. The staff said eggs would be a treat as would canned tuna and the cheese triangles in foil
When you go to the shops, please buy extra eggs, tuna or cheese triangles and drop them into the Simply Pilates Puerto de Pollensa or the Allen Graham Charity Shop in Puerto Pollensa where they will be collected and distributed.
This is an easy thing for us to do and it will make difference to someone else.
It is an ongoing appeal so please donate whenever you can. THANK YOU !!
