WHAT'S ON:Today’s top choice TROTTING RACES IN PALMA TONIGHT
This is a great night out for the whole family at the Son Pardo race-track, which is on the Soller road, on the outskirts of Palma. A series of races will be taking place tonight.

Info. Races start every 20 minutes and you can bet on each one. Race programmes are widely available at the track. A tote system is operated and you can either back the winner, first and second or first, second and third. Naturally the price money is higher for each category. There is a bar and restaurant and it is a fun night out.

I remember going to this many years ago with the children. Stumbled across it by luck and had great fun trying to place a bet! It really is worth going to, very laid back, rather confusing, but so great to watch! :)
After all is said and done, a lot more will be said than done!

Thanks Bella

You learn something new about Mallorca every day. I never knew there was a race track on the island. Any idea how often the races are?.

This link seems to give various event dates as well as the trotting races dates (usually Saturdays I think when I press on the red dates) on their calendar.

I have a feeling there are two tracks, the other being near Manacor.
