Does wild lavender smell as lovely as the commercially grown plant?

No idea Bella,  but one thing I love about this time of year is the amount of wild poppies around.  One of my favourite flowers.  Reminds me of when I was girl and we used to have picnics in poppy fields.

Yes I agree Girlie. Poppies look beautiful in open fields. Reminds me of that Monet painting.  ;D

Evidently bluebells in the uk have popped up early, but because of lack of rain they are not that good and are dying off early. There is a "Bluebell Watch" going on, and complaints that the Spanish bluebell is being used in gardens, but is scentless!!  Well, thats just not on in my book - or garden - a EURO Bluebell? I think not!!  >:(

Lol they try to take control in many directions don't they!  :D

I have loads of white bells in my garden which seem to spread everywhere. When you pull them up they smell of onions yek!
The E U are welcome to come and collect anytime they wish!  ::)

I think the white bells may be wild garlic Eleanor.
